Tsang-yao (Polo) Chen, Ph.D.
I am an assistant professor at the Department of Information Management at Chung Yuan Christian University in Taiwan. As a college teacher, teaching is my passion. I enjoy working with students on system building projects and intellectual exploration of knowledge, learning, and informatoin technology.
My research focus is on e-learning, which perfectly match my training in Instructional Technology from Ohio University. Several research themes evolve over time, and currently I am interested in how semantic Web might affect learning (and thus teaching). Web 3.0, sounds cook, doesn't it?
My social engagement was deeply involved in the international talent mobility between Taiwan and ASEAN countries from 2006 to 2011. It was fun to work with friends sharing the same dreams and together to make the dreams come true.
For pastime, I play with computers, reading books, and watch movies.
I am a The Simpsons fan; and I root for Lisa (well, Homer, too). :-p
